The Armagh Rhymers offer unique, live entertainment allowing a high level of active participation by pupils while incorporating many elements of the curriculum including, drama, dance, literacy, history and Gaeilge.
While visiting Scoil Mhuire, Machaire Áirne the Armagh Rhymers told us the story of Brian Ború and the Vikings. We began with third to sixth class completing a workshop with the group where all pupils actively engaged with the story, learning history, traditions and cúpla focail along the way. Following this third to sixth class then performed the story for Junior Infants - Second class providing great entertainment for all gathered.
We really enjoyed the visit by The Armagh Rhymers.
